Amman Greater Municipality (GAM) on Thursday evening has started work on paving Downtown’s Quraish street which was severely damaged after today's heavy rainfall and consequent flooding.

The road will be paved with temporary material and work is expected to be done by the end of the day, after which the road will be rebuilt with asphalt as soon as the weather conditions permit it.
