Downtown Amman recorded highest rainfall

The central monitoring station in Downtown Amman recorded the highest rainfall during the past 30 hours until 3:00 pm on Thursday at 96.5 mm, followed by Al Hussein Public Parks at 96.0 mm.

Jordanian Meteorological Department said in a statement that the quantities of rain which impacted the Kingdom are as follows:

Northern regions:

  • Ras Munif 59.7 mm
  • Irbid 33.5
  • Ramtha 21.0
  • Baqoura 17.7
  • Al-Rayyan Valley 11.6

Central regions:

  • Amman Civil Airport 63.6
  • Queen Alia Airport 17.4
  • Maghrib 11.0
  • Salt 59.0
  • Fuhais 77.0
  • Al Hussein Public Parks 96.0
  • Al Jubeiha 54.0
  • Al Quwaysimah 86.0
  • Deir Alla 29.3
  • Al-Zarqa 29.2
  • Al-Daleel 24.0
  • Al-Ghabawi 18.1

Southern regions:

  • Ma'an 1.0
  • Qatraneh 1.0

Eastern areas:

  • Al Safawi 5.6
  • Mafraq 37.0
  • Azraq 8.0
