In another provocative move, Itamar Ben Gvir, the far-right Minister of National Security in ‘Israel’, stormed the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in East Jerusalem Tuesday morning.

The visit coincides with the final day of Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles) and comes amid ongoing calls by settler groups to increase mosque incursions during Jewish holidays.

Photos and videos circulating online showed Ben Gvir touring the Al-Aqsa courtyards under heavy ‘Israeli’ police protection.

This marks the second such incursion by the minister in recent days, reflecting a rising pattern of visits to Al-Aqsa by ‘Israeli’ officials and settlers, particularly during Jewish festivals.
