ArabiaWeather has forecast unstable weather conditions across six Arab countries on Thursday, with the formation of thunderclouds and rainfall expected, just one day after Egypt witnessed rare and intense downpours described as the heaviest in nearly 30 years.

According to the forecast, northeastern Algeria and northern and central Tunisia are likely to be affected by renewed convective storm activity. Cloud cover is expected to increase gradually from the afternoon, with a risk of heavy thunderstorms accompanied by hail, potentially triggering flash floods and elevated water levels in valleys and low-lying areas.

In Saudi Arabia, parts of the Jazan and Asir highlands are expected to experience unstable weather, marked by the buildup of thunderclouds and locally heavy rain.

Western highlands in Yemen are also included in the forecast, with rainfall expected to vary in intensity across different areas.

Monsoon-related weather will continue over the mountainous regions of Oman, where local afternoon thunderstorms are anticipated, bringing moderate to heavy rain. These conditions may also extend into the eastern mountain ranges of the United Arab Emirates.

ArabiaWeather noted that these patterns are consistent with seasonal climatic behavior. The center added that it is closely monitoring developments and will issue warnings if the weather situation intensifies.
