The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) announced Tuesday that it successfully intercepted a missile fired from Yemen, following a wave of air raid sirens that rang out across multiple regions.
Residents reported hearing alarms and loud booms as defense systems were activated.
The IOF confirmed in a statement, "Following the sirens that sounded a short while ago in several areas in Israel, a missile that was launched from Yemen was intercepted."
"Airspace temporarily closed following missile launch from Yemen," the statement added.
