Jordan will experience typical summer weather in the coming days, with relatively hot conditions expected in most regions and hotter temperatures in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department.
The forecast also includes periods of active northwesterly winds, which may stir dust, particularly in the Badia (desert) regions.
On Tuesday, daytime weather will be relatively hot across most areas, and hot in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Winds will be moderate northwesterlies, occasionally becoming active.
At night, temperatures will be generally moderate across the country, with relatively warm conditions in the southern Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Some mid-level clouds are expected.
The weather service warned of reduced visibility due to dust in desert regions, and cautioned against direct sun exposure during peak hours, especially in the Badia, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba.
On Wednesday, temperatures are expected to drop slightly. Typical summer conditions will prevail across most areas, with hot weather continuing in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba.
Mid-level clouds may appear, and occasional gusty winds could raise dust in desert regions. Nighttime weather will remain generally moderate, with active northwesterly breezes.
Thursday will bring continued typical summer conditions for most parts of the country. The Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba will remain hot, with mid-level clouds likely. Winds will be moderate to active from the northwest, with dust expected at times in desert regions. Temperatures will stay moderate overnight.
On Friday, similar conditions will persist, typical summer weather in most areas, hot in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with moderate northwesterly winds occasionally increasing in speed. Nighttime conditions will remain generally mild with moderate winds.
