A security source told Roya News that no arrests have been made in connection with a recent incident involving the removal of Jordanian flags at Abdali Boulevard in the capital, Amman.

The incident, which sparked public outrage, was widely circulated on social media through a video showing two individuals removing several flags and throwing them on the ground.

The event coincided with Jordan’s 79th Independence Day celebrations and was perceived by many as offensive and disrespectful to national symbols.

In the footage, the individuals can be seen taking down the flags from their stands and discarding them on the pavement, prompting calls for accountability and action.

The security source clarified that, contrary to circulating rumors, no one has been detained regarding the incident.
