Jordan’s Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi took part in a meeting held by the ministerial committee assigned by the Extraordinary Joint Arab-Islamic Summit to address the situation in the Gaza Strip.

The meeting, hosted at the French Foreign Ministry in Paris, included the committee's chair, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty, and French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Noël Barrot.

Discussions focused on international efforts to end the war on Gaza, ensure the unimpeded delivery of humanitarian aid, and strengthen joint action to halt violations by Israeli occupation forces against the Palestinian people and occupied territories—violations deemed contrary to international law and international humanitarian law.

The officials also addressed the need to support peace efforts in the region, including the implementation of the two-state solution in accordance with relevant international resolutions, aiming to secure long-term peace, security, and prosperity.

The meeting further reviewed preparations for the upcoming high-level international conference on the two-state solution, set to be held at the United Nations headquarters in New York this June, under joint chairmanship by Saudi Arabia and France.
