Jordan is prepared to send around 100 aid trucks into Gaza, but 'Israeli' restrictions have prevented their entry, according to Minister of Government Communication and spokesperson, Mohammad Momani.

Momani emphasized that Jordan has been consistently delivering humanitarian support through air drops, land convoys, and an air bridge since the war began.

On the return of 17 Gazan child patients on May 13, Momani clarified that all had completed treatment in Jordan and were sent back to make room for more patients.

The minister emphasized that Jordan’s policy is to help Palestinians remain resilient in their homeland and avoid contributing to their displacement in any form.

“Twelve others remain in Jordan as their treatment is ongoing,” he said, dismissing social media claims that some were sent back prematurely as false, citing medical reports.

Momani condemned 'Israeli' authorities for reportedly seizing the returning families’ money, belongings, and medicines at the Kerem Shalom crossing.

Since March, Jordan has evacuated 114 individuals from Gaza—39 patients and 75 relatives—in coordination with the WHO. Plans to carry out evacuations by air have been blocked by Israeli Occupation, he noted.

Meanwhile, Jordan continues to operate two military field hospitals in Gaza, providing critical care amid the collapse of the local health system.
