Jordan lowers flags at half-mast to mourn Pope Francis

21-04-2025 22:46|Jordan’s Prime Minister Dr. Jaafar Hassan has ordered flags to be flown at half-staff over ministries, official departments, public institutions, and authorities for three days starting Tuesday, in mourning for the passing of His Holiness Pope Francis.
The decision also comes in solidarity with Christian communities in Jordan and around the world as they grieve this profound loss – the statement by the Prime Ministry said.
Hasan extended his heartfelt condolences to Christians, recalling the late pontiff’s tireless efforts and significant contributions to peace and harmony worldwide.
