Two people were killed and 20 others injured in a traffic accident involving a passenger bus and a pickup truck on the Jerash-Ajloun road near the Souf junction, according to a statement by the Public Security Directorate.
Rescue teams from the Jerash Civil Defense responded to the scene, providing first aid and transferring the injured to Jerash Governmental Hospital, Princess Haya Military Hospital, Al-Iman Governmental Hospital, and Al-Safa Specialty Hospital. The injuries ranged from mild to moderate and are currently under treatment.
Authorities have launched a traffic investigation to determine the cause of the crash.
