A slight drop in temperatures is expected on Monday in Jordan, though readings will remain 4 to 6 degrees above average. The weather will be generally mild to warm during the day across most areas, and relatively hot in the Jordan Valley and Aqaba – per ArabiaWeather’s forecasts.

Northwesterly winds will blow at moderate speeds, occasionally picking up in the afternoon.

Warmer Night Despite Cooler Day

Forecasters noted that despite Monday’s daytime cooldown, nighttime temperatures are expected to rise Monday night into Tuesday compared to previous nights. This is due to the gradual approach of a relatively warm air mass, which is expected to more significantly affect the Kingdom during the day on Tuesday.

The expected low in Amman for Sunday night into Monday is 12°C, while Monday night into Tuesday will see a warmer low of 16°C. Monday evening will be mild, becoming slightly chilly in the late night and early morning hours.

Significant Warm-Up Expected Tuesday

On Tuesday, April 22, Jordan will be increasingly affected by a relatively hot air mass, bringing a noticeable rise in temperatures. Further updates on the evolving weather conditions will be provided as new data becomes available.
