Photos of Royal family at Speech from the Throne

On Monday, several members of the Royal family posted on social media behind the scenes and candid photos from the Speech from the Throne event.

Crown Prince Hussein photos featured charming photos of his wife, Princess Rajwa, as well as his father, the King.

"From the Speech from the Throne at the opening of the first ordinary session of the 20th Parliament," he captioned the post.

Meanwhile, Queen Rania posted a couple of photos with the caption, "At the opening of the 20th Parliament’s first ordinary session today."

Princess Alia Bint Hussein also took to social media sharing a sweet moment with Princess Rajwa.

The 20th House of Representatives convened its first session on Monday, immediately following the Senate meeting. The session commenced after His Majesty King Abdullah II delivered the Speech from the Throne, marking the opening of the first ordinary session of the 20th Parliament.

The session was chaired by the most senior member of Parliament. 

The agenda included the recitation of royal decrees, swearing-in of new members, and the election of the House Speaker. Additionally, members voted for permanent committees and elect members of the permanent office, including the Speaker, Deputy Speakers, and Assistant Speakers.
