Teacher injured in attack by student in Irbid school
A teacher in Irbid was injured with superficial cuts after being attacked by a student at a school.
An official security source denied earlier reports of the teacher being stabbed, confirming that the teacher visited the hospital and was found to have only superficial scratches, not a stab wound.
Mahmoud Hayasat, Director of the Public Relations and Media Unit at the Ministry of Education, stated that the ministry is following up on the incident and will apply school discipline regulations to the student involved.
He added that the teacher is in the process of filing an official complaint with security authorities for the necessary legal action. The teacher's condition is stable and being monitored. Hayasat condemned the unacceptable behavior, which goes against the values and ethics of the educational community, and emphasized the ministry's commitment to ensuring a safe environment for all educational and administrative staff in schools.
