Israeli Occupation claims assassination of Hezbollah anti-tank missile commander
The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) claimed the assassination of Mohammad Kamel Naim, the commander of Hezbollah’s anti-tank missile system, on Monday.
In response to the "Israeli" strikes, Hezbollah issued a strongly-worded statement warning that if "Israel" continues its attacks on Lebanon, the resistance will turn Haifa into another Kiryat Shmona or Metula, referring to border settlements that lie within range of Hezbollah's rockets.
The statement revealed that Hezbollah’s "Hudhud" drones had gathered intelligence on sensitive military targets and vital facilities in occupied Palestine, particularly in Haifa. The group asserted its capability to monitor and strike in locations where the IOF does not expect it.
The statement criticized "Israel's" belief that assassinating key leaders, including the martyr Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah, would deter the resistance. Instead, Hezbollah vowed to respond to ongoing Israeli Occupation aggressions against civilians in Lebanon, especially in Beirut.
In a retaliatory operation, Hezbollah targeted a "Golani" Brigade camp in Binyamina, south of Haifa. The operation involved launching dozens of rockets at Nahariya and Acre to overwhelm "Israeli" air defenses while deploying swarms of advanced drones that penetrated the defense systems undetected.
The drones successfully reached their target, exploding inside rooms occupied by officers and soldiers, resulting in numerous casualties.
Hezbollah concluded its statement by reaffirming its commitment to defending Lebanon and its people, warning that the attack in southern Haifa is merely the beginning if the "Israeli" assaults persist. The group indicated that a more detailed report on the ongoing battles along the Lebanese-Palestinian border will be issued soon.
