In a joint statement released by the Shin Bet security agency and the “Israel” Police, two “Israelis” have been arrested for allegedly carrying out acts of sabotage at the behest of Iranian operatives and plotting to assassinate a senior “Israeli” figure.

The main suspect, identified as 30-year-old Vladislav Viktorson from Ramat Gan, was reportedly approached by an Iranian individual named Mari Hossi.

Viktorson subsequently recruited his 18-year-old partner, Anna Bernstein, to assist him in the planned operations.

According to the statement, Viktorson and Bernstein engaged in various acts of vandalism, including spray-painting provocative graffiti, posting incendiary flyers, and setting fire to vehicles near Tel Aviv’s Yarkon Park.

They also committed acts of arson in local forests, following Hossi's instructions communicated in Hebrew. The two allegedly filmed some of these incidents and received USD 5,000 in payment for their actions.

The investigation revealed that Viktorson and Bernstein were instructed to carry out an assassination attempt by throwing a hand grenade into the home of a prominent “Israeli” figure.

They reportedly agreed to the plan and were in the process of attempting to purchase weapons for the attack. The identity of the intended target has not been disclosed.

In recent months, the Shin Bet has announced several suspected Iranian plots aimed at inciting violence within “Israel”.

These incidents include attempts to manipulate “Israelis” online into executing missions for Tehran, including a scheme uncovered in January that involved recruiting individuals to gather intelligence on high-profile figures.
