Lebanese PM Mikati arrives in Amman
Jordanian Prime Minister Dr. Jafar Hassan welcomed Lebanese Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati on Monday at the Prime Ministry in Amman.
During the meeting, the two leaders discussed the ramifications of the “Israeli” aggression against Lebanon and the escalating situation in the region – according to a statement by the Jordanian Prime Ministry.

Hassan reaffirmed Jordan's steadfast support for Lebanon’s security, sovereignty, and stability, following directives from King Abdullah II.
He strongly condemned the ongoing “Israeli” aggression and emphasized the importance of adhering to UN Security Council Resolution 1701.
Mikati expressed his deep appreciation for Jordan’s solidarity, acknowledging the leadership, government, and people of Jordan for their unwavering support during the current crisis.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ayman Safadi, and Lebanon's Ambassador to Jordan, Youssef Raji.
An official reception ceremony was held upon Mikati's arrival at the Prime Ministry.
