Royal Air Force dispatches plane to evacuate Jordanian citizens from Lebanon
Under royal directives, a Royal Jordanian Air Force C130 aircraft departed on Monday to evacuate Jordanian citizens from Lebanon, following the escalation of events in the country – a statement from the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF) said.
The evacuation is being coordinated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, as part of Jordan’s efforts to ensure the safe return of its nationals during crises.
The kingdom is utilizing all available resources to guarantee the safety of its citizens and ensure their secure return home, added the statement.
In addition to the evacuation, the aircraft, sent by the Jordan Armed Forces in coordination with the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), was loaded with food supplies, relief items, medical equipment, and essential medicines.
The aid aims to support various sectors in Lebanon that are struggling due to severe shortages, reinforcing Jordan’s commitment to humanitarian and regional duties.
