The Abu-Dhabi-based Etihad Airways will resume flights between Abu Dhabi in the UAE to Doha in Qatar as of Feb. 15, the airline announced Wednesday. The daily flight will operate using an Airbus A320 and a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, according to the Peninsula Qatar.

The Senior Vice President Global Sales and Cargo at Etihad Aviation Group Martin Drew said “With ties between the UAE and Qatar restored, the restarting of passenger services between the two capitals will once again support the growth of trade and tourism between the two nations."

Qatar Airways also tweeted "#QatarAirways announces it will resume flights to #UAE, starting with services to #DubaiDXB on 27 January 2021, followed by #AbuDhabi on 28 January."

Flights between Qatar and the UAE have been suspended for approximately three years.
