Epidemiological inspection teams in the northern city of Mafraq have collected 40 random samples from medical, nursing, technical and administrative cadres of the Northern Badia Hospital, where a nurse who had direct contat with the infected truck driver works.

The Hospital’s Director, Dr. Abdullah Shamekh, said it was confirmed that a nurse working at the Hospital has been in direct contact with the Al-Khanaseri infected truck driver, noting that samples were collected for testing to control any spread of the virus.

"All preventive measures were taken in accordance with precautionary health rules", he added.
