The Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) has declared the "ultimate state of emergency" as the Kingdom is expected to get affected by unstable weather conditions in the coming two days.

GAM has called on citizens to stay away from valleys and lowlands, check the water drainage systems at their homes to avoid any flooding and not to throw wastes inside the drainage systems as they may close down the systems and lead to floodings in case of heavy rainfall.

Shopowners are also urged to check water pumps at shops located below street level or in low areas and to take precautions when storing goods in warehouses and basements.
