The Ministry of Local Administration has declared the "ultimate state of emergency", as the Kingdom is expected to get affected by unstable weather conditions in the coming two days.

The Ministry issued a circular to all municipalities, directorates of municipal affairs and joint services councils to take all precautions, open operation rooms, check on the readiness of sewage networks and manholes, inspect valleys, and secure the necessary machinery that may be needed to deal with the expected conditions, Jordan News Agency (Petra) reported.

It also called on citizens to take care and be careful, stay away from lowlands and areas where flooding is likely to occur, follow the weather forecast, and contact the main emergency rooms and operation rooms in case of emergency at 064641393 and 064652697.
