Head of the House of Representatives, Atef Tarawneh announced that the Israel-Jordan gas pipeline agreement will be discussed with Israeli parties next Tuesday, March 16, 2019.
This came during an early session this morning, March 19, 2019, which discussed the report of the Audit Bureau.
The Tel Aviv-Amman gas pipeline was in its final stage at the end of 2018; however, it is expected to be in operation by the end of 2019, to provide Jordan with 3.5 billion cubic meters of natural gas annually, noting that the pipeline is 23 km long and 36 cm in diameter.
