Jordan’s Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources said Tuesday that the Kingdom’s stock of petroleum derivatives and gas remains sufficient, adding that the national energy system is operating under “approved, proactive plans”.
The minister said technical and logistical alternatives are available and ready, ensuring uninterrupted supplies of natural gas and fuel products under all conditions.
He confirmed that no shortages have been recorded in the local market, particularly for household cooking gas, with supplies fully meeting national demand.
He added that energy sector facilities across the Kingdom are operating at full capacity, alongside the availability of alternative fuels, including heavy fuel oil and diesel, used in power generation in the event of natural gas disruptions.
