The incident occurred in the Al-Zaatari area, where Civil Defense teams in Mafraq, supported by a specialized river rescue unit from the international search and rescue team, responded to reports of a child swept into a watercourse.
Search operation spans kilometers
Authorities said specialized diving teams conducted extensive search operations along nearly eight kilometers of the flood channel before locating the child’s body.
