  • Queen Alia Airport shows stable flight operations in early March.
  • Daily flights average 110–130, peak of 141 on March 6.
  • Airport expected to return to 240 flights per day.

Captain Dhaifallah Al-Farajat, Chairman of the Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission, confirmed that air traffic at Queen Alia International Airport is progressing steadily during the first third of March, despite regional tensions. He highlighted the high readiness of technical and operational staff to handle arriving and departing passengers efficiently.

Analytical data from March 1 to March 10 show a rising trend in flight numbers, reflecting the sector’s flexibility. On March 6, the airport recorded a peak of 141 flights, demonstrating continued confidence in the safety of Jordanian airspace.

Al-Farajat noted that the airport has maintained a daily average of 110 to 130 flights during most of this period. He expressed optimism that operations could return to pre-pandemic levels of up to 240 flights per day, supported by quality navigation services and the return of several airlines to Amman.

He concluded by emphasizing that the Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission is dedicating all resources to maintain this stability and is working closely with airport partners to ensure a safe and smooth travel experience, reinforcing Jordan’s role as a regional aviation hub and tourist destination.
