  • The convoy carries relief supplies, food, and medicine to support communities affected by the crisis.

Under directives from King Abdullah II, the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), in cooperation with the Jordanian Armed Forces, has dispatched a humanitarian aid convoy to Lebanon.

The convoy consists of 25 trucks loaded with relief supplies, food, and medicine. The assistance was prepared as part of Jordan’s humanitarian response system aimed at delivering support to those in need and strengthening relief efforts in affected areas.

Humanitarian role

In a statement, the organization said the convoy reflects the Kingdom’s ongoing humanitarian role under the leadership of King Abdullah II in standing by partner nations during crises.

Continued support

JHCO Secretary-General Dr. Hussein Shibli said the convoy demonstrates Jordan’s continued humanitarian approach in extending assistance to brotherly countries.

“We are working in coordination with various national institutions to ensure humanitarian aid reaches its beneficiaries efficiently and quickly,” Shibli said.

He added that the convoy is part of Jordan’s ongoing efforts to support Lebanon, noting that the Kingdom is mobilizing its logistical and humanitarian capabilities to deliver aid amid the current circumstances.

The organization affirmed it will continue its humanitarian role in cooperation with the Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army and in coordination with official authorities and humanitarian partners to ensure the sustained delivery of relief assistance to affected areas.
