His Majesty King Abdullah II, accompanied by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein, chaired Tuesday a meeting at the National Centre for Security and Crises Management, and was briefed on the readiness of the centre and state institutions to deal with repercussions of current regional developments.

His Majesty expressed his appreciation for the efforts of all institutions and agencies in defending the Kingdom, and ensuring the safety of its people, emphasising the importance of maintaining coordination among all relevant parties, according to a statement by the Royal Hashemite Court (RHC).

His Majesty emphasised the need to be prepared for any emergency, develop rapid response plans, and ensure the availability of essential goods through secure stockpiles and sustainable supply chains, the statement added.
