Man dies from heater gas inhalation in Karak

Civil Defense teams in Karak governorate responded to a fatal suffocation incident, according to a spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate.

The spokesperson said a man died after inhaling gases emitted from a home heater. Ambulance crews rushed the victim to hospital in an attempt to save his life, but he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

The Public Security Directorate renewed its call for the public to use heating appliances safely and properly, stressing the importance of ventilating homes regularly to prevent the buildup of toxic gases and protect lives.
