Majali added that San Marino’s recognition aligns with international positions calling for acknowledgment of Palestinians’ right to establish an independent, sovereign state “based on a two-state solution.”
He reiterated Jordan’s stance, foremost among them the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the June 4, 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
The spokesman noted that this vision is grounded in international legitimacy and the Arab Peace Initiative.
Concluding his statement, Majali affirmed that, under King Abdullah II’s guidance, Jordan will continue its diligent work with all regional and international partners.
