National Crisis Management Center honors Roya, highlights strategic media partnership
The National Center for Security and Crisis Management honored Roya Media Group in recognition of its role as a strategic media partner.
The honor came during a visit by a delegation from the group, headed by its CEO, Engineer Fares Sayegh, to the center’s headquarters.
Appreciation for Roya’s Role as a Responsible Media Platform
This recognition comes as an affirmation of the importance of the role played by independent national media as a key partner of the state in delivering accurate information, raising public awareness, and building bridges of trust between citizens and their institutions.
During the meeting, the influential role of Roya Media Group on both the local and regional levels was highlighted, through its responsible news and programming content. Programs such as Nabd Al Balad, presented by journalist Mohammad Al-Khalidi, were cited as examples of this role.
Partnership to Strengthen the Domestic Front
Engineer Fares Sayegh affirmed that effective partnership between national institutions, such as the Crisis Management Center, and private media institutions directly contributes to building a “solid domestic front” capable of facing various circumstances and challenges.
Both sides stressed that the principle of partnership between the public and private sectors is a fundamental pillar in supporting Jordan’s progress under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, praising the pivotal role of the center in efficiently coordinating national efforts.
The Roya delegation also listened to a briefing on the mechanisms, procedures, and strategic plans implemented by the center in dealing with various disasters and crises, as well as its modern preparations to address changes in the strategic environment locally, regionally, and internationally, all contributing to a safe and stable national environment.
The Roya delegation included, alongside the CEO, Roya TV Director Uday Al-Hayari and journalist Mohammad Al-Khalidi.
