'Israel’s' Defense Minister Israel Katz announced on Wednesday that 'Israeli' forces have conducted strikes against Houthi positions in Yemen as part of Operation “Bell Tolls.”

“We promised more strikes and today we prepared another painful strike against the Houthi terror organization in Yemen,” Katz tweeted.

“The long arm of the State of Israel will reach and strike terror wherever it may be and from any place from which a threat to our citizens emanates.”

According to a statement from the Israel Occupation Forces (IOF), the strikes targeted military camps in Sanaa and Al Jawf, including the Houthi Military Public Relations Headquarters and a fuel storage facility used by the group for activities.

The IOF claimed that the military camps were used to plan and execute attacks against 'Israel', and the Public Relations Department led propaganda and psychological operations, including disseminating speeches by Houthi leader Abd al-Malik and statements by spokesperson Yahya Sari.

The IOF emphasized that the strikes were conducted in response to attacks by the Houthis, including the launch of UAVs and surface-to-surface missiles toward 'Israeli' territory. “The Houthis operate under the direction and funding of the Iranian regime to harm the State of Israel and its allies,” the IOF statement said. “They exploit the maritime domain to project force and carry out terror activity against global shipping and trade routes.”

The IOF added that it remains determined to counter ongoing and repeated attacks by the Houthis and will continue operations to neutralize threats to 'Israeli' civilians wherever required.

Earlier this week the 'Israeli' Air Force (IAF) intercepted three unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) that allegedly originated from Yemen, 'Israeli' military sources confirmed.

Two of the drones were intercepted before they could enter 'Israeli' territory.
