Yemen’s Houthis reported that 'Israeli' air strikes hit the capital, Sanaa, on Wednesday.

In a statement carried by Houthi al-Masirah television on Telegram, the Houthis said their air defenses were actively intercepting 'Israeli' aircraft carrying out aggression against the country.

They added that their defenses had successfully launched several surface-to-air missiles during the attack, forcing some 'Israeli' combat formations to withdraw before executing their strikes and thwarting the majority of the aggression, “thanks to God.”

According to Houthi sources, the strikes targeted government offices, including a Finance Ministry building and a Defense Ministry complex in central Sanaa.

News outlets reported that six Houthi sites were hit, with the main target being the defense complex in the city center.

The situation is ongoing, and further details are expected as the story develops.
