'Israel' claims airstrike in Yemen killed 12 Houthi officials
In a statement, the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) claimed an airstrike in Sanaa, Yemen, on Thursday, claiming to have killed 12 senior officials of the Houthi movement.
According to the IOF, the strike targeted a facility said to be used by the group’s senior military command.
The IOF claimed the meeting included top military figures and government ministers “directly involved in directing and managing terror activities against Israel.” 'Israeli' authorities alleged that the Houthis are using civilian infrastructure for military purposes and diverting resources toward military buildup.
The statement also accused the Houthis of carrying out attacks in the Red Sea aimed at disrupting shipping lanes and economic activity, and said the group receives funding and weapons from Iran.
