‘Israel’ claims killing leader of “lethal” Gaza group
The ‘Israeli’ military said it killed Musbah Salim Musbah Dayyah, who it says is the head of the Mujahideen Brigades in Gaza, during recent military operations in the Nuseirat refugee camp.

According to the ‘Israeli’ military claims, Dayyah was involved in recruiting members in the West Bank and orchestrating attacks on ‘Israeli’ forces in both the West Bank and Gaza.
The announcement marks the fourth time in recent months that the ‘Israeli’ military has reported eliminating a leader of the Mujahideen Brigades.
His predecessors, As'ad Abu Shari'a and Mahmoud Muhammad Hamid Kuhail, were reportedly killed in ‘Israeli’ strikes in early June.
The Mujahideen Brigades, the armed wing of the Palestinian Mujahideen Movement, participated in the October 7 attack and are described by ‘Israeli’ security sources as "relatively small but highly lethal and compartmentalized", which allowed it to operate under the radar and evade intelligence monitoring, according to officials cited by The Jerusalem Post.
