Palestinian Authority will be “destroyed like Hamas,” says Smotrich in call for annexing West Bank

‘Israeli’ Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich issued a statement promoting a plan for applying ‘Israeli’ sovereignty over the West Bank, with him warning the Palestinian Authority against any resistance, saying it would be "destroyed like Hamas."

A Call for "Historic" Sovereignty

Smotrich addressed Netanyahu in his remarks, calling on him to move forward in applying ‘Israeli’ law to 82% of West Bank territories, which would leave 18% for Palestinians, according to YNET.

"Convene the government and make a historic decision; to apply sovereignty over all open areas in Judea and Samaria,"

Smotrich said. "If you do this, you will enter the history books as a great leader."

“Never an Arab State”

"There is not, and never will be, an Arab state within us," the far-right minister declared.

If the Palestinian Authority “raises its head,” ‘Israel’ will “destroy it like Hamas,” Smotrich added.
