'Israeli' military probes failed interception of missile from Yemen

The Hebrew daily Yedioth Ahronoth reported Saturday that the 'Israeli' Air Force has opened an investigation into the failed interception of a missile launched from Yemen, after fragments landed in the yard of a house in central occupied Palestine.

The paper noted that initial investigations are examining whether the missile contained cluster components, which could explain the scattering of shrapnel around the impact site.

It added that 'Israel’s' defense systems were unable to fully intercept the missile, raising concerns within security circles about the effectiveness of its air defense systems against similar long-range threats.
