Massive fire erupts near presidential palace in Damascus

A massive fire broke out near the People’s Palace in the Syrian capital, Damascus, according to Roya’s correspondent.

Footage showed thick plumes of smoke rising near the presidential compound.

The Syrian Civil Defense said that the fire erupted in a wooded area between the Mashrou' Dummar neighborhood and the People’s Palace.
