VIDEO: Massive fire breaks out at wood factory in Jordan, no injuries reported

Firefighting teams from the Civil Defense Department successfully extinguished a major fire that broke out Thursday morning at a wood factory in Rusaifa, Jordan. 

According to a security source, operations rooms received an emergency call about a blaze at the factory. Specialized firefighting crews, supported by ambulances, were immediately dispatched to the scene.

The source said large quantities of wood and highly flammable materials inside the facility fueled the rapid spread of the fire. Firefighters worked from multiple directions to contain the flames and prevent the fire from reaching nearby buildings and factories. They were eventually able to fully control and extinguish the blaze.

No injuries were reported, but the fire caused significant material damage to the factory's contents and structure.

Civil Defense teams conducted cooling operations to prevent the fire from reigniting, while security authorities launched an investigation into the exact cause of the incident.
