Arab Army foils infiltration attempt on northern border

A military source in the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF)– the Arab Army said that the Northern Military Zone on Tuesday thwarted an infiltration attempt along one of its northern fronts within its area of responsibility.

The source explained that a person was detected trying to cross the border illegally. Rules of engagement were applied, the individual was arrested, and referred to the relevant authorities.

The source stressed that the Jordanian Armed Forces continue to act with strength and determination, mobilizing all available resources to confront such activities and prevent all forms of infiltration and smuggling in order to safeguard the security and stability of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
