22 hours ago|The Jordan Seismological Observatory said Wednesday morning that while some residents in Amman reported feeling tremors, no earthquakes were recorded within Jordanian territory.
According to the observatory, the mild shaking felt by some was the result of a 6.1-magnitude earthquake that struck the Mediterranean Sea at 1:51 a.m. local time.
Officials confirmed that the tremor had no impact in Jordan and emphasized that the observatory continues to closely monitor seismic activity in the region.
