Five arrested after illegal border crossing from north Jordan: army

The Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF) said Tuesday that the Northern Command thwarted an infiltration attempt along one of its border fronts at dawn.

According to a statement, five individuals were detected attempting to cross the border illegally.

Rules of engagement were applied, and the individuals were apprehended and transferred to the relevant authorities – the statement said.
