Seventeen Palestinian children returned to the Gaza Strip on Tuesday via the King Hussein Bridge, accompanied by their families, after completing medical treatment in Jordanian hospitals under the "Jordanian Medical Corridor" initiative.

The children were part of the first group evacuated on March 4, transported by land and air through the Jordanian Armed Forces in coordination with the World Health Organization and the Ministry of Health.

Seventeen children have fully recovered following medical care, while 12 others continue to receive treatment in various hospitals across the Kingdom under close medical supervision.

Families of the children expressed deep gratitude to His Majesty King Abdullah II and the Jordanian Armed Forces, praising the humanitarian initiative that brought renewed hope to families devastated by war and limited medical resources in Gaza – a statement by the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF) said.

This effort is part of a broader Jordanian humanitarian response launched after the outbreak of war in Gaza. The Kingdom has sent field hospitals, medical and food aid convoys, and facilitated the medical evacuation of children and wounded individuals in need of advanced care unavailable inside the besieged strip.
