Mild weather continues in Jordan ahead of weekend heatwave
Temperatures in Jordan are expected to dip slightly on Wednesday, bringing mild conditions to most regions and moderate weather in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), scattered clouds at varying altitudes will appear throughout the day, with a slight chance of light rain showers in the north during the morning hours.
Northwesterly winds will blow at moderate speeds, occasionally becoming active and stirring dust, particularly in desert areas.
On Thursday, similar conditions are forecast, with continued mild weather across much of the country and moderate temperatures in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba.
Low clouds are expected over the northern and central regions, accompanied by moderate northwesterly winds that may pick up at times.
By Friday, the Kingdom will gradually come under the influence of a hot air mass. Temperatures will rise noticeably, with warm conditions expected in most areas and relatively hot weather in the desert regions, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba. High-altitude clouds will be present, and southeasterly winds will be moderate to active.
The heat will intensify on Saturday, with a further increase in temperatures. The weather will turn dry and hot, accompanied by high clouds and active southeasterly winds that may raise dust in some areas.
