Unstable weather to bring rain, thunder to Jordan today
Jordan is expected to remain under the influence of a relatively cold air mass on Sunday, accompanied by unstable weather conditions, according to ArabiaWeather.
The forecast calls for increasing cloud cover throughout the day and a chance of scattered thunderstorms across various parts of the country.
Thunderstorms Possible by Afternoon
According to the latest weather updates, relatively cold conditions are expected to prevail across most of Jordan during the day, with high temperatures ranging between 14°C and 17°C in Amman and the highlands. Meanwhile, temperatures in the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba will range from the mid to upper 20s.
As the day progresses, chances increase for rain showers that may be accompanied by thunder and lightning, affecting parts of the north, center, and south.
Intensifying Weather at Night, Rain Shifting South and East
By nighttime, temperatures are expected to drop significantly, bringing cold and partly to mostly cloudy conditions across the Kingdom. The weather system is expected to intensify during this period, with thunderstorms focusing on southern and eastern areas, including the Dead Sea, Aqaba, Karak, and Tafilah.
