Jordan says ready to train Palestinian police

Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi said Jordan is ready and willing to train Palestinian police officers as part of efforts to support stability.

In statements during a session titled “Reflections from Gaza Contact Group on the Future of Gaza/Palestine at the Antalya Diplomacy Forum 2025, Safadi reiterated Jordan’s refusal of the displacement of Palestinians from their land, and His Majesty King Abdullah’s stance of preserving the Islamic and Christian identity of Jerusalem under the Hashemite custodianship of the city’s holy sites.
