Domestic worker flees home after receiving bonus

A resident of the capital, Amman, has reported the disappearance of an Ethiopian domestic worker who left his home and did not return after receiving a financial bonus for completing her work.

According to the homeowner, who spoke to Roya, the worker was paid in advance as a reward but left the house on Friday morning and has not been seen since. He filed an official report with the local police station.

The homeowner believes the worker may have left to work independently. He noted that she has a sister who also resides in Amman.

The Public Security Directorate (PSD) has circulated her description, and the homeowner is urging anyone with information about her whereabouts to contact the nearest police station or the relevant authorities.
