Hamas outlines path to end war in new statement

The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) has stated that the formula to end the war is now clear: the release of captives in exchange for an end to the aggression on Gaza.

The movement noted that the world increasingly recognizes the fairness of this proposal, while 'Israeli' Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu continues to reject it for reasons tied to his political survival and efforts to escape prosecution.

In its statement, Hamas emphasized that the growing calls within the 'Israeli' entity to stop the aggression and secure the release of captives reflect a rising awareness of Netanyahu’s responsibility for prolonging the aggression and the suffering of captives in Gaza, alongside ongoing crimes against the Palestinian people.

Hamas added that the blood of Gaza’s children and 'Israeli' captives alike is being shed because of Netanyahu’s political ambitions.

The movement stressed that every day of delay in reaching an agreement means more deaths among Palestinian civilians and an uncertain fate for the 'Israeli' captives.
