Government announces Eid al-Fitr holiday

Prime Minister Dr. Jafar Hassan issued an official directive on Monday, designating the Eid al-Fitr holiday from Sunday, March 30, until the evening of Wednesday, April 2.

According to the directive, all ministries, government departments, public institutions, state-owned universities, municipalities, joint service councils, the Greater Amman Municipality, and fully government-owned companies will suspend operations during this period.

However, the directive exempts ministries and government entities whose nature of work requires continued operation.
