King receives representatives of Syria’s neighboring countries meeting
His Majesty King Abdullah II, with Crown Prince Hussein, met with representatives of neighboring countries at the Syrian neighboring countries meeting, hosted in Jordan.
King Abdullah reaffirmed Jordan's commitment to Syria's security, territorial integrity, and regional cooperation to address shared challenges. The meeting aims to enhance coordination amid ongoing security and political developments in the region.

This comes after the regional security meeting, which began on Sunday, brought together top officials from Türkiye, Jordan, Iraq, Lebanon, and Syria.
The summit included foreign and defense ministers, intelligence chiefs, and senior military leaders, focusing on security challenges such as counterterrorism and cross-border trafficking. Participants also discussed strengthening regional stability and supporting Syria’s national unity.
The gathering reflects ongoing efforts to coordinate policies among neighboring countries in response to evolving security threats, with potential implications for the region's political and security landscape. Later in the evening, foreign ministers from the five nations are scheduled to hold a joint press conference to discuss the summit’s key outcomes.
